Meet Dr. Scharine
I love my profession more every year, and I feel fortunate to have something that I am so passionate about that I am able to share with others. The field of dentistry is continually changing and I make it my goal to stay up to date with these changes. I want my patients to feel comfortable and confident coming to this practice, and to know that they will receive the best possible care from me and my team.
My patients are like family to me, I have shared in many of their joys and sorrows and I truly love them! I look forward to helping my patients improve and maintain their smiles throughout the years, and I feel fortunate that they allow me to be a part of their lives. I could not ask for a better career, or a better group of people to spend my time with each day.

I thrive on learning, and keeping up with the latest trends and therapies in dentistry is a constant learning process. Every year I exceed the requirements for continuing education in orthodontics and general dentistry. I am dedicated to providing the best care for my patients, and my commitment to continuing education makes it all possible.

Outside of the Practice
When I’m not at the practice creating smiles, I enjoy spending time at home sharing smiles with my family! I am married to my beautiful wife, Reene. I have one daughter, Melissa, two sons, Dan and Paul, a family dog, named Princess and three grandchildren. My family and I live in Appleton, where I’ve been proud to call home for over 30 years. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, hunting, swimming, and biking. I have also been a regular volunteer at the Tri County Community Dental Clinic for over six years.
